The Full Story about DJ Jamy

Born in a small village in Zeeland, a province in The Netherlands. Grown up together with my bro in harmony and hapiness. Played and fantasised i head my own radio studio in my boy's room. Recorded on tapes the music from the radio and used them in my "virtual" radio studio.

Discovered how to DJ in 2007 with just a simple laptop and a self setup stream. Used the basic version of Virtual DJ and started to play music inworld (Second Life) for myself. At the same time exploring the night-and danceclubs in second life were i saw people DJing. Building up my music library and knowledge about Virtual DJ. In 2008 i started to play pre-parties before the well known DJ's would appear. My first pre-party in 2008 was on Aqua Beach, which unfortunately doesnt exist anymore. First real gigs inworld were at Tained Boys and Coral Beach, that time without voice. Next to the fact i didnt had the gear for voice, the main reason i was way too shy.

I took DJing to a next level at the beginning of 2009. Used my first remix gear; Hercules RMX. I started to mix in tunes, got to know what BPM was and how to synchronise for better results. Started to play at new venues like Sweetgrass, FabulousSoul, Boots, Zeus, Dance Island, Arsenal.

In 2012 i even started to play for real at friend's birthdays, weddings and special events. This was the moment i regretted i didnt start way earlier with this fantastic thing called DJing. I loved to see people dancing on the tunes but realized it was probably too late to start in real clubs. Althought you never know, so if you like what you hear, and you own a real club do not hesitate at all to contact me!!

In 2017 i brought it all up to a next level of professionalism. Updated my gear with full Virtual DJ, Denon MC7000 and subscriptions to the biggest streaming platforms to play my tunes fully legal. Started to play at bigger venues inworld with lots of fun and planned to play more and more in the coming years.
